With a starting field of 335 qualified companies in the Zealand region, Momentum Energy Group was last week named winner of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2024 in Region Zealand.

It was a memorable evening when Kim Madsen, founder and CEO of Momentum Energy Group, was delighted to receive the award, which symbolizes a significant recognition of the company’s journey. Momentum has experienced significant growth and development over the years, and the award emphasizes the goals and ambitions that we have worked towards and continue to strive for.

The jury’s reason for the award

The jury highlighted Momentum Energy Group as a “bold case,” which through an exciting development journey since 2005 has achieved impressive financial results and a strong market position. The company’s work is characterized by both innovation and a focus on sustainability, especially by extending the life of products. This work resonates with the present and contributes to a more sustainable future, supporting the jury’s belief that Momentum has a promising future ahead.

It all started with two thirds of a wind turbine – and today it has grown into a solid and innovative company with potential for continued growth.

Next stop: The national final

Momentum Energy Group is now moving on to the national final, which will take place on Thursday, November 28. Here, six regional winners will compete for the title of Danish EY Entrepreneur Of The Year. The Danish winner will participate in the international final in Monaco in 2025.
