Press release: Jan Nørgaard has joined Momentum Energy Services as new CEO
Momentum Energy Services has a new Managing Director as of August 1, 2025. Jan Nørgaard has been appointed Managing Director at the head office in Balle on Djursland, where he will handle the daily management and continued development of Momentum Energy Group’s service company, which provides monitoring, operation and maintenance of both own and customers’ wind turbines and solar cells throughout Denmark.
“I am very pleased that Jan has agreed to take over the responsibility for Momentum Energy Services. Jan’s deep experience within renewable energy will strengthen our already strong team in Balle,” says CEO of Momentum Energy Group, Rasmus Sielemann Christensen.
“I am very much looking forward to working with everyone at Momentum and contribute to developing Momentum Energy Services for the benefit of our customers and internal and external partners. Momentum has a strong focus on both new development and maintenance and life extension. It’s a focus on sustainability in practice, and I look forward to being a part of that. Ultimately, it’s about putting action behind Denmark’s green transition,” says Jan Nørgaard.
At the same time, Martin Damsø Bruun will step down as Managing Director of Momentum Energy Services, but will remain in Momentum Energy Group as head of the Own Energy-Generating Assets department.
CEO Rasmus Sielemann Christensen says about the change in the two roles: “Martin Damsø Bruun has in his time as Managing Director helped strengthen the organization and create the foundation for the further development of Momentum Energy Services, and we are pleased that he continues in Momentum Energy Group in a central role. With our new organization, both Jan and Martin will have clearly defined, but still highly coherent areas of responsibility. This is a clear strength for us.”
