Press release:
Momentum Energy Group appoints new CFO
29.06.2026
Momentum Energy Group A/S has appointed Jens Boëtius Andersen as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from mid-August.
CEO Rasmus Sielemann Christensen says: “I am delighted that Momentum Energy Group has appointed Jens Boëtius Andersen as our new CFO. Jens is an experienced, hands-on and hardworking executive with extensive expertise in finance, banking, process optimisation, ESG and IT. He is a commercially minded, resilient and ambitious CFO, and both Jens and I have ambitious plans for how we will continue to develop Momentum.”
Jens Boëtius Andersen is a statutory auditor by background and brings ten years of experience as a CFO, including six years at the radar and defence technology company Weibel Scientific, where he helped guide the company through a period of significant growth. Prior to his CFO career, he spent 20 years as a consultant with Deloitte. With his extensive experience in organisational leadership, business transformation and financial performance, Jens Boëtius Andersen is a strong addition to Momentum’s executive management team.
Rasmus Sielemann Christensen continues: “With Jens as my closest strategic partner, we are setting the bar exceptionally high for where we want to take Momentum. The onshore renewable energy sector is facing historically challenging market conditions, but we are in this market to win, and Jens will play a pivotal role in achieving that ambition.”
Commenting on his new position, Jens Boëtius Andersen says: “Renewable energy is essential for Denmark’s security and freedom and is fundamental to building a more sustainable society. Momentum has ambitious owners, an inspiring CEO and highly skilled employees, providing a very strong foundation on which to build an even stronger company. I very much look forward to getting started and working together with my new colleagues.”
In March, Annette Nylander decided to step down as CFO but will remain with Momentum until the end of the year. The transition to Jens Boëtius Andersen has therefore been planned with an extended handover period, during which Jens and Annette will work closely together to ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities while Annette continues to oversee a number of strategically important initiatives.
Rasmus Sielemann Christensen says: “Annette has played a significant role in Momentum’s development. From both an organisational and governance perspective, Momentum is in a much stronger position today than when Annette joined the company in 2024, and she deserves a great deal of the credit for that. She has made an outstanding contribution during a particularly challenging period for both the onshore renewable energy sector and Momentum, and we are sincerely grateful for her efforts.”
The six-month transition period will allow Jens Boëtius Andersen to benefit from a thorough onboarding process while ensuring a smooth offboarding for Annette Nylander.
Rasmus Sielemann Christensen concludes: “Annette’s willingness to remain with us until the end of the year is highly beneficial for the organisation, our employees and for Jens. It also reflects the positive spirit surrounding this transition.”
