At Momentum, we have a clear goal to reduce global C02 emissions significantly and in the most sustainable way. With an innovative approach, we lead the way and are a key market player in the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy sources such as wind and solar.

What will your responsibilities be?

Your overall responsibility will be to ensure that long-term future purchasing agreements are made, that current supply agreements are honored and that our pricing agreements are updated in a timely manner. The position is newly created, and you will therefore have ample opportunity to influence everyday life and the content of the position.

In addition to this, your tasks include

  • Daily shopping
  • Continuous follow-up of our suppliers
  • Warehouse purchasing and inventory in collaboration with warehouse manager
  • Ensure close coordination with warehouse and service managers

Who are we?

We are 140 dedicated colleagues in Roskilde, Bredebro, Balle and other locations in Denmark and Germany. You will be part of the Service Department, MEWS, and you will be part of a team of skilled, helpful and committed colleagues. Your primary workplace will be at our new office in Balle outside Grenaa, but some travel to our other offices in Denmark is to be expected.

Momentum wants to be a sustainable workplace and has a strong focus on the personal and professional development, retention and inclusiveness of our employees. We offer health insurance and flexible working hours with work-life balance, where you can work from home up to two days a week.

“We shouldn’t just focus on buying the cheapest, but what offers the most value in the long term. Every part and every contract is a piece of our mission to deliver reliable and sustainable energy to society. Our purchasing decisions aren’t just about economics – they’re about ensuring quality, reliability and environmental sustainability at every step of our supply chain”says Alan Hansen, Head of Service and Technical Management.

Who are you?

We expect you to have a background as a buyer, possibly with technical training. You are professionally skilled and have a strong technical understanding, ideally from a similar position in the industry or equivalent.

As the wind turbine industry is subject to strict environmental and regulatory requirements, it’s important that you have a good knowledge of these requirements and can ensure that your company’s procurement complies with them. In addition to this, you will of course have the ability to negotiate, identify and manage risks. We communicate a lot with our stakeholders and colleagues internationally, so a good command of English is a requirement.

We encourage all interested parties regardless of age, gender, religion or ethnicity to apply for the position.

Want to join the journey?

We look forward to hearing from you.
