Progress at Roth Wind Farm despite weather challenges

Despite major challenges with heavy rainfall since October 2023, the installation of two large Enercon E138 3.5 MW wind turbines at Windpark Roth in southwestern Germany is now progressing well.

The plan is being followed closely and it is expected that the turbines will be connected and start production by September 1, 2024. The wet ground due to the heavy rainfall required additional work to ensure optimal access and installation conditions as well as additional foundation work.

The result of the thorough and solid work is very satisfying. Once in production, the two turbines are expected to have an annual production of approximately 18,750,000 kWh, which will cover the annual electricity consumption of almost 12,000 adults.
